Author Guidelines

Academos adheres to rigorous academic and ethical standards to meet the requirements of leading international indexing databases. The following guidelines ensure the quality, transparency, and international relevance of all published content.

  • All articles must present originalunpublished, and well-researched work, contributing to academic discourse and/or practical applications.

2. Peer Review Process

  • Academos follows a double-blind peer review process.
  • Each paper is reviewed by at least two independent experts in the relevant field.
  • Reviewers are selected from a qualified international pool and are unaffiliated with the authors’ institutions whenever possible.
  • Editorial decisions are based on originality, relevance, methodological soundness, clarity, and contribution to the field.

3. Language and Accessibility

  • The journal accepts submissions in English only to ensure international readability and academic reach.
  • Papers must be written in clear, scholarly language, free from grammatical errors.
  • Authors are encouraged to use professional language editing services if needed.

4. Ethical Publishing Standards

  • Academos adheres to the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.
  • In line with COPE guidelines, artificial intelligence tools (e.g. ChatGPT) cannot be listed as named authors on submitted articles. Authors are fully responsible for the content of their article, even those parts produced by any AI tool, and are thus liable for any inaccuracies or breaches of publication ethics.
  • All research involving human participants must include an ethics statement and approval from a recognized ethics committee.
  • Plagiarism checks are conducted on all submissions using reliable detection tools.
  • Authors must declare conflicts of interest and funding sources.
  • Data transparency is encouraged, and datasets may be requested during the review.

 5. Authorship and Contribution

  • All listed authors must have made significant contributions to research and writing.
  • Corresponding authors must confirm that all co-authors have approved the final version of the paper and agree to its submission.

6. Citations and Referencing

  • References must be formatted according to APA 7th Edition.
  • Authors are encouraged to cite recent, relevant international literature to demonstrate engagement with global research.
  • Self-citation should be limited and justified.

7. International Relevance and Diversity

  • Academos seeks submissions from authors around the world and includes an international editorial board and reviewer base.
  • Articles should address issues of globalregional, or comparative significance to support Scopus’s requirement for international scholarly impact.

8. Digital Presence and Metadata Standards

  • All articles are published online with DOIs (Digital Object Identifiers).
  • Articles are tagged with structured metadata, including abstracts, keywords, and author affiliations, to support discoverability in academic databases.

9. Frequency and Timeliness
